First Embry does a interview where he talks about Kerry Von Erich vs Billy Travis, Skandar Akbar and Gary Young. He also berates a camera man who tries to wrap up the interview.

Leatherface comes out with Embry and Ta-Gar and scares the hell out of Dave Brown and Michael St. John. We then get a interview with Embry and Squash match vs Tim Hall.

Description

From September 1991. First we see the end of Jimmy Valiant and Sweet Georgia Brown vs Tom Prichard and Miss Texas with Eric Embry interference backfiring. After that is a interview with Embry followed by yes another match with Chris Frazier. Dirty White boy comes out but he's attacked by the returning P.Y Chu Hi(Phil Hickerson)

This is the start of the Tom Prichard babyface turn. That wouldn't happen for another month or so as he went on a tour of Japan. P.Y Chu Hi wasn't around for very long although the next video I will post about him is funny as hell.

Over the next however long I'll be putting up a history of Eric Embry in World Class, much as timmy8271b has done with his excellent Embry Memphis footage. This is his first match at the Sportatorium, in 1986, against Rick Dubois. Once again, Marc Lowrance, as much as I love him, can't pronounce the jobber's name.

First a interview about Bill and Jamie Dundee.(Jamie took Bill's place and is leaving town for 30 days.) After that is a Embry squash vs Don Kelly. A masked man who faces Embry at the coliseum, The Lone Ranger interferes and runs Embry off. The Ranger unmasks to reveal Doug Gilbert.

Eric comes out again to talk about Jerry Lawler. Eddie Marlin comes out and Embry attacks him. Then Embry attacks announcer Michael St. John!!! Finally Lawler comes out and the chase is on.

Clips from the Embry/Lawler/Jarrett vs Moondogs match. One of the Moondogs run in and throw some kind of liquid in Embry's eyes. He sells it great and Lawler/Jarrett try to help him out.

This is a pretty famous angle that got in all the wrestling magazines at the time and helped USWA a lot. For more Moondogs, check out PopCultureStu's great channel.

Tom Prichard interview where he talks about Eric. He's scheduled to have a match vs Tony Falk but Embry attacks him and goes nuts. CJ comes out to cool him down.

After having problems in a match vs Jerry Lawler, Eric Embry gets into a confrontation with Paul Neighbors and Eddie Marlin. He would go on to face both guys in a hair vs hair match.

I gotta say, this might be one of my favorite angles ever in USWA. The Spirit of America debuts to clean up the USWA of Trash. First we see a video promo of him outside with his trusty trash can. Eric Embry shows up and wonders what is going on. He then proceeds to laugh at the Spirit of America and goes back in his car. A short time later, Embry is shown on Camera again and throws trash on the ground and laughs again. Spirit Of America almost starts to cry. Words can't do justice on how awesome this was. After that is Spirit Of America vs Tony Falk.

First we get a Embry promo about the DWB. After that is the match.

This is a bit much Eric...

Interview with Embry and CJ about taking out DWB. After that is a Embry squash. Dirty White Girl comes out and talks about the guy that will face Embry, Pat Tanaka. This is also CJ's last appearance on USWA as she left the company and sued for Sexual Harassment.

Chris Adams comes out for a interview. He's pissed that Steve Austin is being managed by his ex wife. He asks Eric Embry who is Austin's opponent at the next Dallas show if he can take his place? Long segment that also includes Terrance Garvin

First we get promos from both men.

Eric asks Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett to be their tag team partner for a match vs The Moondogs and Richard Lee. Lawler and Jarrett's response is understandable.

From May 1991, Embry and Miss Texas come out for a interview. He pulls out a PWI magazine and even makes fun of the Ultimate Warrior. After that is clips of Embry beating Jeff Jarrett for the Southern Title in Dallas. Embry then takes on Freezer Thompson in a squash and finally another interview with Embry. Brunomania(Downtown Bruno doing a Hulk Hogan gimmick) comes out and kisses Miss texas.

First we get a Dutch promo talking about Eric Embry. Dave Brown tells Dutch that Embry was talking shit about him and this leads to Embry coming out. and trying to calm things down. Soon a brawl breaks out and afterwards, Embry sucker punches Eddie Marlin which is ALWAYS great. Jeff Jarrett tries to make the save but Billy Joe Travis cuts him off.

Eric Returns after taking some time off from the Texas scene. He's scheduled to wrestle with Percy Pringle vs Akbar and Gary Young. First he does a interview then a squash. Young and Akbar come out and attack Eric and Percy.

The Fantastics cut a promo atop a scaffold regarding their upcoming match at the 1986 Cotton Bowl with Steve Simpson against Eric Embry and the RPMs. Of course, Embry and his teammates come out to try to take advantage of a 3 on 2 situation.

During a Texas Hangmen squash, Eric Embry comes out angry about Jerry Lawler challenging him to a match and Eddie Marlin agreeing. And Yes that is Mickey Jay of WCW ref fame as one of the jobbers
